13 - Smart Personalization

AI Tools
Smart Personalization, powered by AI, customize experiences across various sectors by analyzing user interactions and performance.
Software with smart personalization can dynamically alter content, challenges, and support to suit individual preferences and skill levels, enhancing engagement and efficiency.
Smart personalization integrated with predictive AI technology has shown promise in XR (VR, AR, and MR) education, particularly in enhancing students’ engagement and performance through adaptive learning . For instance, Cibuļska and Boločko introduced the Adaptive Virtual Reality Education System (AVRES), which combines predictive ML algorithms and VR technologies to offer an adaptive educational system that tailors tasks based on students’ past performance (2022). By collecting data from integrated VR headset sensors and other external sensors, AVRES customizes learning content to each student’s training requirements and performance, using ML algorithms to predict the next learning task and the type of educational media and content best suited to the user's learning style.
