Gesture / motion detection powered by perceptual AI has the potential to recognize not only visual cues but also one’s psychological condition. AI-assisted Dance Movement Therapy (AIDMT), for example, leverages perceptual AI and DL algorithms to predict and assess an individual's psychological condition, automatically generating and analyzing dance movements synchronized with music to enhance therapeutic effectiveness in patients’ health and well-being (Li, Karuppiah, and Shanmugam 2021 ).
